About Jen
Dr. Jen Yewchuk is an experienced Chiropractor who uses multiple approaches to get the best results for her patients. She uses a mix of adjusting techniques, stretching, massage, ultrasound, shockwave, spinal decompression, postural advice and more. She works on the spine as well as the extremity joints, such as ankles, feet, wrists, and shoulders. Conditions treated include: headaches, neck/upper/mid and low back stiffness or pain, shoulder and shoulder blade stiffness and pain, disc herniations, nerve pain such as sciatica, tendonitis, rotator cuff injuries, carpal tunnel pain, achilles tendon pain, plantar fasciitis and many others.
Dr. Yewchuk received her Doctorate of Chiropractic from the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at the University of Victoria. She has been a Chiropractor for several years working in busy chiropractic/wellness clinics and has gained a wealth of experience.
Dr. Yewchuk treats patients of all ages and backgrounds, including adults, children, teens, athletes, pregnancy and elderly.
She uses diversified adjusting, drop table technique, stretching and massage techniques, Activator Technique (instrument assisted adjusting), Graston Technique (used to treat soft tissue issues), and Webster technique (a specific technique that optimizes pelvic biomechanics at the end of pregnancy). She has taken multiple Active Release Technique courses which focus on muscle and ligament treatment and has completed additional seminars and courses focused on active rehabilitation of injuries.
