About Jerry
Dr. Jerry Lam is an Advanced Certified Chiropractic BioPhysics® (CBP) Doctor with a clinical focus on postural and spinal alignment correction, whiplash injury rehabilitation (ICBC/MVC), sports injuries, and spinal deformities.
Dr. Lam’s approach is built on a simple principle: healing is a process, not a single event.
Lasting improvement rarely comes from a “miracle treatment” that permanently resolves chronic or recurrent problems without addressing underlying structure.”
Instead, it requires identifying the structural and biomechanical causes of a problem and addressing them systematically.
For this reason, care with Dr. Lam always begins with a thorough assessment. This includes posture and movement analysis, neurological and orthopedic evaluation, and when clinically indicated, X-ray–based diagnostics. Findings are reviewed in detail so you clearly understand:
1. Why your symptoms developed
2. What is contributing to ongoing stress or degeneration
3. What is required to create stable, long-term improvement
Treatment plans are designed to go beyond short-term pain relief. The goal is to restore structural integrity, improve function, reduce the risk of recurrence, and slow or prevent further deterioration of spinal health over time.
Dr. Lam utilizes a results and evidence based combination of: manual and instrument-assisted chiropractic adjustments, multi-directional CBP® traction, Shockwave, Red Light/Laser, Spinal decompression, postural rehabilitation and corrective exercise.
He is a Gold member of the CBP® Non-Profit, which publishes peer-reviewed research advancing evidence-based chiropractic care, as well as the International Chiropractic Association (ICA) and the Chiropractic Defense Council.
Dr. Lam is fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, and accepts ICBC patients.
Outside the clinic, he is a black belt judo coach, a member of the University of Victoria Judo Club, and is committed to ongoing professional development, training, and evidence-based practice to better serve his patients and community.
