Dr. Jessica Liu ND is a Licensed Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine, practicing general family naturopathic medicine since 2006 with a clinical focus in fertility, women’s health, children’s health, pregnancy, and mental-emotional wellness. Specifically, her interest in women’s reproductive health came about after her own reproductive health challenges were remarkably improved with the help of natural medicines.
Dr. Liu is the founder and developer of the Lakeside Natural Health Centre’s unique Fertility Enhancement Program. She has worked with many couples to help them conceive naturally or in conjunction with assisted reproductive techniques such as IUI or IVF.
Dr. Liu draws from a deep understanding of an eclectic range of naturopathic modalities to tailor to the specific needs of each individual patient. She utilizes a unique bio-energetic assessment and treatment technique to help identify underlying causes of disease and to select the gentlest and most effective remedies when treating her patients. Her highest aim with each patient is to facilitate healing of the entire being in mind, body, and spirit and to inspire and educate patients to achieve balance and continued wellness in all areas of health.
Dr. Liu holds additional certification in Rubimed Psychosomatic Therapy, BioEnergetic Intolerance Elimination Technique (BIE), Acupuncture, Auricular Bio-energetic Medicine, Bowen and Reiki Therapy, and has attended births as an experienced professional Birth Doula.
Dr. Liu is an active member of the Ontario and Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors, the Endocrinology Association of Naturopathic Physicians, the Pediatric Association of Naturopathic Physicians, and a past Board Member of the Association of Perinatal Naturopathic Doctors. Balancing her work in private practice, she is also a faculty member at the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition, and volunteers her time as a Board Examiner for the Ontario ND Licensing Board Examinations. She has been invited as a regular speaker at the Ontario Early Years Centre, the Running Room and has appeared as a guest speaker on “Health Matters” on Rogers Cable 10.
Dr. Liu lives in Mississauga with her husband and two children who inspire her to help families grow in health every day.
