I have been a Chiropractor in Barrie and the surrounding area for over 20 years now and I am truly passionate about chiropractic care.
My mission is to help you and your family live a healthy and active life. We do this by providing a family-friendly environment where our patients not only feel at home, but one where they can be well educated on spinal corrective care and health.
By utilizing the Gonstead chiropractic methodology, I aim to help as many people as possible achieve optimal health, so that they can lead happier, more productive lives.
I can help you with back pain, sciatica, neck pain, headaches, numbness and/or tingling, depression/anxiety, degeneration/arthritis, TMJ, as well as many other conditions.

“Came and visited Dr. John Rae after a stupid move on Saturday which caused a nerve to get pinched and hindering me from free movement all the way till Monday (today). I called all available spots in my Area Innisfil but they were all talking money and assessments instead of asking about my pain and then referring to tomorrow. After a Google search I found Ultimate Family Chiropractor Dr. John Rae and I called in and spoke with Heather who booked me in. Heather is super nice and extremely helpful. “Dr. John is fantastic. I started seeing him a couple years ago when i messed up my back and within a few weeks i was feeling so much better already! Every new thing i've managed to do to myself in my physically demanding job, he's been able to help me out with. Dr. John and all of the staff there are so friendly and helpful. They learn and remember your name , and bits about you to have conversation every time you go in. It's a really homey small-town feeling place and it's so welcoming! “I’ve been seeing Dr. John now for about 15 years. I’ve always had problems with my back. Having been to several other chiropractors and not having success, I was in doubt he’d be able to help me. Because he has extra training in the Gonstead method his approach is different. He works on very specific parts of my spine only. I’ve had 98% relief. I continue to go to maintain that good feeling. “My mom flew to visit us from the U.S. and her neck began hurting soon after getting to our home. She woke up the second night here in really severe pain. I prayed as I figured out what to do & searched for a chiropractor nearby. My husband was out of town, so I loaded my boys & my parents and we all went to Ultimate Family Chiropractic. Absolute answered prayer because they made appointment despite being really busy. The front desk welcomed us like friends AND they had a great play room for my boys AND Dr. John Rae was kind & gentle with my mom... and offered to give her adjustments over the weekend at his home if she needed them! She felt so much better that night... she said he worked a miracle! She has followed up with my dad's chiropractor back in U.S. and she's doing great.
