Dans ses motsDr. Kathy Slepokura graduated from the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture from their 4-year intensive program, achieving diplomas in both Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. After graduating, Dr. Kathy was accepted into Dr. Gui Chao Wu’s Acupuncture Internship Program and has worked under his mentorship for 1.5 years in two busy clinics.
Acupuncture/Traditional Chinese Medicine can treat everything from muscle and joint aches and pains to addictions, infertility, long term COVID symptoms and everything in between. In clinic, Dr. Kathy takes a holistic approach, targeting the acute symptoms for more immediate relief, while also improving the body’s functions to promote further healing. Depending on the condition, most acupuncture treatments will include multiple modalities such as fire cupping, electro-stimulation and tunia (Chinese massage) for best results.
Dr. Kathy’s ambition is to promote quality of life for all her patients. She is passionate about serving you and wants you to live in a body and mind that feels fantastic so that you can go out there and live your life exactly how you want.

« During a traditional fire cupping treatment you can expect the application of oil and a combination of sliding and static cupping techniques applied to the skin, usually the back, shoulders and neck, with glass cups that are heated with a fire source and then applied to the skin to create a vacuum. Fire Cupping is often used to stimulate blood flow which alleviates muscle tension and promotes healing and is often used for pain relief, relaxation, and to improve overall health.
