Dr. Jeannie Doig, ND has been practising in the Alberni Valley and Tofino since 2007. She received her Honours Bachelor of Science in Human Biology from the University of Toronto in 1999 and her 4-year post graduate degree from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto in 2006.
Dr. Jeannie Doig can address any health concern by addressing the “root cause” rather than just masking symptoms.
Dr. Jeannie Doig specializes in helping tired women overcome hormonal imbalances, menstrual problems, sleep problems, menopausal problems, PMS, digestive problems, PCOS, unwanted weight gain, infertility, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, adrenal and thyroid dysfunction. She is trained in functional medicine testing to address the root cause of patients’ symptoms. Dr. Doig is trained as well in bio-identical hormone replacement therapy and individualized thyroid prescriptions.
Dr. Doig is a passionate promoter of patient education and preventative medicine as well as teaches yoga. She regularly updates her education by attending functional medicine seminars throughout North America and is currently working towards her functional medicine fellowship through the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine.
