About Natalie
With over 21 years dedicated to helping people heal, Natalie Jensen combines extensive clinical experience with a compassionate, whole-person approach to wellness.
As a Doctor of Acupuncture, she integrates acupuncture with holistic healing modalities including Microneedling, Sound Healing, HypnoPuncture®, Energy Clearings, Quantum Healing, and the NADA Protocol to support healing on every level—mind, body, emotions, and spirit.
Natalie’s journey into acupuncture began long before earning her Doctor of Acupuncture designation. She practiced as a Registered Massage Therapist for 17 years, gaining invaluable experience treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, chronic pain, injuries, and stress-related disorders. Those years gave her a deep understanding of the body's structure, movement, and patterns of dysfunction, while allowing her to witness firsthand the limitations of treating physical symptoms alone. This inspired her to pursue Traditional Chinese Medicine, enabling her to help patients address the deeper root causes of illness and restore balance from within.
Through decades of clinical practice, Natalie has come to understand that the body is beautifully interconnected. Physical pain often reflects emotional experiences, mental stress, unresolved trauma, or spiritual disconnection. Her philosophy recognizes that true healing occurs when all aspects of a person are acknowledged and supported. By combining evidence-informed Traditional Chinese Medicine with intuitive healing practices and nervous system regulation, she creates personalized treatments that encourage lasting transformation rather than temporary symptom relief.
Natalie also works with individuals recovering from substance use disorders at Wah Pow Treatment Centre in Lac La Biche, where she provides the NADA (National Acupuncture Detoxification Association) ear acupuncture protocol.
This specialized treatment is designed to calm the nervous system, reduce anxiety, lessen cravings, improve emotional regulation, and support recovery throughout the healing process. Beyond its physical benefits, Natalie has witnessed how the NADA protocol can help individuals reconnect with themselves, cultivate self-forgiveness, and begin opening their hearts to healing and compassion for both themselves and others.
Patients often describe Natalie has warm, intuitive, and deeply present. She creates a safe, supportive environment where individuals feel heard, understood, and empowered to participate in their own healing journey. Whether addressing chronic pain, stress, trauma, emotional wellbeing, hormonal health, or personal transformation, Natalie is committed to helping each person reconnect with their innate capacity to heal and thrive.
Outside of her practice, Natalie embraces an active lifestyle and finds her greatest joy in nature. During the winter, you'll often find her skiing in the mountains, while summer is spent waterskiing and enjoying Alberta's beautiful lakes. Above all, she treasures quality time with her 11-year-old son, creating lasting memories through outdoor adventures and shared experiences. Whether on the ski hill, on the water, or simply surrounded by nature, Natalie believes that spending time outdoors is one of life's greatest sources of balance, healing, and happiness—a philosophy that naturally extends into the care she provides her patients.
