Dans ses motsDr. Olja Važić obtained her Honours Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo in 2015. She went on to complete the four year Doctor of Chiropractic Degree at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College where she graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2019. During her studies, she completed an Advanced Standing Registered Massage Therapy Diploma at the Royal Canadian College of Massage Therapy in 2017 as she was eager to begin her clinical work. She also earned a Clinical Acupuncture Diploma from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2019. Finally, she completed a Master of Science in Biomechanics and Neurophysiology at the University of Guelph in 2020.
Dr. Važić is committed to continuous education, both in the form of additional courses and individual learning of the current literature. She strives to keep up to date with research-guided recommendations to provide high quality and ethical treatments. She uses a wide variety of techniques such as spinal and extremity manipulation and mobilization, functional range release, muscle release therapy, electro-acupuncture/acupuncture and rehabilitative exercise. Her goals are to help you feel better, move better and return to the activities you love, all while motivating you towards living a healthier, more active lifestyle! When she is not at the clinic, Dr. Važić loves to spend time with her friends and family, strength train, play squash, and travel the world!
