Pranavi has quite a reputation for her strength for deep tissue treatments that her patients appreciate. Her style is not a typically fluffy, spa approach but rather a more biomechanical, investigative, result orientated treatment.
That being said, she also naturally attracts the elderly and adapts to pressure depth according to the patient's needs. It is her dream to open a treatment center just to cater the elderly population.
Since graduating, she has been working at a Sports Medicine Clinic and is competent at treating Triathletes, Geriatrics, Children, Pre and Post Partum, pre and post surgeries, Whiplash and more.
Soon after graduating, she also started to supervise at school clinic, outreach events, proctor exams and was also a Teachers Assistant for Biomechanics at Mount Royal University.
Initially, she came to Canada to pursue Medical Esthetics and was told by many to consider Massage Therapy. She was told she has "the touch" and took the advice given to her seriously. At MRU she was awarded Massage Therapy Program Champion.
Chinese Medicine/ Acupuncture
Pranavi decided to study further and took up Chinese Medicine. She also was the only student of her batch to go to China (pre COVID). She grew as a therapist and learnt a lot by visiting and interning at Chinese Medicine Hospitals and Universities.
Having a keen interest in Auricular Acupuncture and Moxibustion some common conditions she can address are:
• Chronic Pain
• Sleep disorders
• Digestive concerns
• Mental Health issues like:
Depression, Anxiety, Eating Disorders, Addictions, PTSD etc.
What would an ideal treatment be like?
For best outcomes it is recommended to book a Massage and Acupuncture combo with her. This seems to have had lasting effects of the treatment.
