Dr Khangura provides a well rounded integrative naturopathic medical practice, and has a great affinity for treating gastrointestinal disorders, autoimmunity, and hormone imbalances. He is considered the Canadian expert and education leader for the condition Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth (SIBO) - the #1 root cause of Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS). Dr. Khangura also routinely treats other gastrointestinal disorders, such as fungal/yeast dysbiosis, colon bacterial dysbiosis, EPI, Ulcerative Colitis, Crohn's disease, Diverticulosis/itis, and GERD.
Dr. Khangura is also a Canadian leader in diagnosing and treating Chronic Embedded Urinary Tract Infections (cUTI). cUTI's are often misdiagnosed as Interstitial Cystitis and Chronic Pelvic Pain Syndrome.
Autoimmunity and hormone imbalances are also a significant part of Dr. Khangura's practice due to the extensive connection between the gastrointestinal tract and both the immune and hormonal systems of the body.
Dr Khangura has a passion for educating his peers. Since the beginning of 2016, he has educated over 750 doctors throughout North America on the topic of SIBO/Gastrointestinal disorders and cUTI's. He has also been a featured guest multiple times on the CFAX 1070 afternoon show and CFAX Weekend Wellness, as well as multiple YouTube health & wellness podcasts.
Dr Khangura is licensed with the College of Naturopathic Physicians of British Columbia, and holds certifications in Pharmaceutical Prescribing rights and IV & Chelation Therapies.
