In his quest for deeper knowledge and specialized skills, Dr. Shamei chose the University of Western States (UWS) in Portland, a hub for advanced health sciences education. His academic journey at UWS was marked by significant achievements: he earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology, a Masters in Sports Medicine, and a Doctorate in Chiropractic, graduating with the highest accolades, Summa Cum Laude. This period was characterized by intensive clinical patient care experience and hands-on sports medicine practice, including providing on-field care at local sporting events such as wrestling, football, and basketball tournaments. These experiences were instrumental in sharpening his practical skills and understanding of patient care in diverse settings.
Dr. Shamei's patient care philosophy is anchored in a comprehensive, evidence-based approach. He skillfully combines various treatment modalities, including chiropractic manipulative therapy, soft tissue treatments, cupping therapy, Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM), muscle release techniques, Ultrasound, IFC, and shockwave.
