Dr. Sonvir Brar was born and raised in British Columbia and earned her BSc in Kinesiology from Simon Fraser University. She completed her Doctor of Chiropractic degree at the University of Western States in Portland, OR. With a lifelong passion for movement—from competitive soccer to various forms of exercise—Dr. Brar focuses on mobility, strength, and overall function. She uses diversified techniques, cupping, instrument-assisted soft tissue therapy, and rehab exercises. Dr. Brar enjoys working with all ages, with a special interest in prenatal care and athletic performance.
Value Statement:
I believe in a collaborative, patient-centered model of care where treatment decisions are made together with the patient's values and goals. My goal is to provide care that’s evidence-based and empowering.
Personal Reflection:
For me, physical activity is a core component of my care. Soccer, hikin,g and going for runs are the main ways that I stay active. By making these forms of movement a consistent part of my life, I’m able to approach my treatment not just as a medical necessity but as a lifestyle choice.
