Drew Fournier
À propos de Drew
Dans ses motsReaching out for support can feel like one of the hardest steps — and Drew gets that. His approach is warm, unhurried, and free of judgment, built around the belief that you are the expert on your own life. His role is to walk alongside you, helping you find the path forward that feels right.
Drew brings over twenty years of experience in the public school system to his counselling practice, giving him a deep, lived understanding of what families, adolescents, and young clients are navigating today — anxiety, stress, bullying, grief and loss, emotional regulation, and trauma. He works gently and collaboratively, meeting each client exactly where they are.
As a queer-affirmative counsellor, Drew offers a genuinely safe and affirming space to explore questions of identity, orientation, and belonging. He also has extensive experience supporting couples and families through the complexities of connection, communication, and growth.
His work is grounded in strength-based, solution-focused practices, and woven through with narrative therapy and mindfulness approaches — helping clients re-author their stories and build steadier, more compassionate relationships with themselves.
Drew's credentials include:
Bachelor of Arts, St. Thomas University
Bachelor of Education, University of New Brunswick
Master of Curriculum Studies, Mount Saint Vincent University
Master of Counselling, Acadia University
Above all, Drew believes that healing begins with feeling truly seen. Whether you're a young person finding your voice, a couple seeking deeper connection, or an adult ready to set something down — you'll find a steady, compassionate presence in him.
Drew is currently accepting new clients ages 6 and up.
