Elaine has both a Masters Degree in Counselling Psychology from the University of British Columbia and a BC Teaching Certificate. She brings over 10 years of experience working with children, adolescents, troubled youth, and families, both as an educator and counsellor. Elaine is also a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors.
Elaine takes a collaborative approach in helping clients navigate challenges that different stages of life can bring, providing a safe place where clients can find non-judgemental support and guidance. Elaine is experienced in working with concerns such as anxiety, depression, grief, stress, body image, emotional regulation, neurodivergence (ADHD, ASD), family relationships, and LGBTQ2S+ concerns and identity. She is passionate about working with others and provides counselling services in English as well as Mandarin.
Elaine specializes in individual and family therapy. Her strengths-based, client-focused approach supports emotional healing and wellbeing. She believes that through providing
