Elijah Hunt
À propos de Elijah
Dans ses motsElijah Hunt is a Counselling Psychology Master’s student completing his practicum with Haven! He has experience as a mental health worker for a non-profit organization in which he provided both one-on-one and group services while completing his undergraduate degree in psychology. He is excited to offer free services to youth (ages 12+) and adult clients at Haven while he undergoes his eight month practicum experience. Elijah values the opportunity to sit with clients and hopes to create a positive experience for those who choose to see him. Although he’s still adapting and learning, Elijah’s foundation is focused on being person-centred, and trauma informed. His hope is to create a space of safety, trust and collaboration. Elijah has specialized occupational interest and education in depression and anxiety work, addiction and substance use, and grief and loss. Although life’s challenges may feel both large and other times seemingly small, Elijah believes that being heard, understood and valued is a game changer for all of us. Although each individual that sits across from Elijah has their own unique experience, his goal remains to meet you wherever you may be. We want to make known that sessions will be recorded for training purposes, only reviewed by Elijah and his practicum supervisor, and destroyed after one week. This will only happen with each client's full and informed written consent. Please contact our office 778-763-1342 if you have any questions/concerns.
