Elizabeth graduated from the University of the Fraser Valley with a Bachelor of Kinesiology in Exercise Science. She then worked in a rehabilitation setting before returning to school and completing her Master of Physical Therapy degree at the University of British Columbia.
Elizabeth is passionate about continuing education, and has completed courses in the Mulligan concept, Kinetic Link Training and specialized courses on working with runners. She also holds her Level 1, Level 2 Upper & Lower, and Level 3 Lower Orthopaedic Manual Therapy certification, with plans to pursue further training in this area. She has completed the Dry Needling Program through Acupuncture Canada.
Elizabeth utilizes exercise, manual therapy, and education to help patients reach their therapeutic goals. Elizabeth's clinical passions involve sports and orthopaedic physical therapy. She has a multitude of experience working with athletes, starting with her time working in the athletic clinic at UFV. Elizabeth specializes in working with hockey players, and has been working with the Delta Hockey Academy since 2021. She has worked with hockey players ranging from recreational to the professional level. Elizabeth also has a passion working with CrossFit athletes. She also enjoyed her experience as a dance instructor, specializing in ballet as well as strength and conditioning for competitive dancers.
Outside of the clinic, you can find Elizabeth sweating in a CrossFit WOD, hitting the pavement on a run, or cheering on the Vancouver Canucks. She has run a number of half-marathons, and completed the BMO Vancouver Marathon in 2017.
