Dans ses motsEllice is a graduate of the University of Toronto, completing her Master of Social Work Degree in 2014. She also obtained a Bachelor of Social Work Degree (4th Year Dean’s List) from the University of the Fraser Valley in 2012.
Most of Ellice’s prior training and practice was focused in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). While she continues to use some components of DBT, Ellice’s more recent training and interests have included Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Relationship-Focused Models (such as Intimacy From the Inside Out-informed practice), as well as Family Systems and Trauma-Centred approaches. She supports clients with goals such as reducing stress, increasing self-compassion, and improving interpersonal dynamics. She has a particular interest in relationships (both within ourselves and with others), as well as trauma-centred approaches.
Ellice cares deeply about her clients and genuinely wants the best for them. She is committed to continuous learning and is kind and curious with her clients. Ellice strives for transparency regarding her interventions and practice, including openly sharing information about her professional practices.
Outside of the office, Ellice enjoys playing recreational volleyball with her friends, watching comedy, drinking chai lattes, spending time in parks and at the lake, as well as walking her senior doberman (Otis).
