Emily graduated from the massage therapy program at Vancouver College of Massage Therapy. Prior to attending massage school, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Health Sciences degree from Simon Fraser University.
From a young age, Emily experienced firsthand the powerful effects of massage therapy and appreciated the difference it made in her overall sense of wellbeing. This personal experience, combined with her keen interest in human anatomy and physiology, naturally led her to pursue a career in massage therapy.
Emily enjoys using a patient centered approach, in which she works with patients to develop a treatment plan tailored to their individual needs. She uses a variety of techniques in her treatments, including but not limited to Swedish massage, myofascial release, trigger point release, active stretching, pin and stretch and passive range of motion. Emily likes the one-on-one aspect of massage therapy and how, as an RMT, she can help others maintain and restore optimal physical and mental wellbeing.
When not working, Emily enjoys trying new restaurants and looking for the spiciest items, going for walks and runs, traveling, and playing with her loveable tabby cat Koni.
