Erin Beckford, RMT
À propos de Erin
Dans ses motsDue to upcoming Maternity leave, Erin is no longer accepting new patients
Hi everyone!
You may recognize my face from my early days at the front desk. My adventure with BNHC began in 2010, and it’s been incredibly rewarding to grow within the clinic since. Over the years, I have studied Fitness & Health Promotion (Durham College), Kinesiology (UOIT), and Massage Therapy at Centennial College.
While I truly valued my time on the admin team, I always felt a strong drive to do more for the patients and community I’ve come to know so well. That passion led me to pursue a hands-on role as an RMT where I can directly support people in feeling and moving better.
My approach to treatment focuses on improving musculoskeletal function through a combination of manual therapy and targeted remedial exercise. I am also able to incorporate specialized techniques such as Cupping Therapy, Indian Head Massage, and Fascial Stretch Therapy to create individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs and goals.
I strive to create a welcoming, supportive environment where you feel heard, cared for, and confident in your care. It’s a privilege to work with this community, and I look forward to continuing to support you and your family on your health journey.

Massage
« A system of pressing and kneading different areas of the body to relieve pain, induce relaxation, ease muscle tension, stiffness and pain and improve breathing, circulation and enhance well-being. Therapeutic massage can be used to treat various injuries related to sports, work and posture »3 optionsFascial Stretch TherapyFollow-up
« Fascial Stretch Therapy (FST) is a gentle, assisted stretching technique, targeting the connective tissue that surrounds and supports your muscles, joints, and nerves. Unlike traditional stretching, your FST practitioner will guide your body through smooth, pain-free movements while you relax on a treatment table.
FST can help improve mobility, reduce stiffness, and enhance overall movement by working not just on individual muscles, but on entire movement patterns. Because the fascia is interconnected throughout the body, FST can help relieve tension in areas you may not expect. Some benefits of FST include, but are not limited to: Improved flexibility and range of motion, reduced muscle tension and joint stiffness, enhanced recovery from workouts or daily activity, improved posture and movement efficiency, and relaxation of the nervous system.
FST is suitable for a wide range of individuals. From athletes looking to optimize performance to those experiencing tightness, discomfort, or limited mobility in everyday life. »3 optionsFascial Stretch Therapy AssessmentNew patient
