À propos de Erin
Dans ses motsLife can throw many curveballs at you. Having personally experienced family trauma and becoming a primary caregiver for loved ones battling chronic disease and cancer at a young age, I understand the importance of having someone who cares enough to come alongside and support you through difficult life transitions.
Since 2021, I’ve had the privilege of helping individuals, couples, and families in their journeys toward healing, growth, and deeper connection. I am skilled at supporting families, particularly immigrant families, as I know and understand the complexities of cultural expectations and how it might impact acceptance and relationship with yourself and with others. I am passionate about bridging generational and cultural gaps with sensitivity, and I offer support in Cantonese.
Using a person-centred approach, I integrate various counseling theories and techniques, including Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Narrative Therapy, Gottman Method, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). In our sessions, you will be able to process your experiences, explore your emotions, and map out your thoughts without judgment. Together, we can create a collaborative and understanding space for your growth and empower you to achieve therapeutic goals that are important to you.
Outside of my practice, I enjoy creative pursuits such as watercolour painting and playing the piano, and I like to stay active walking and cycling and exploring neighbourhoods.
Thank goodness for all those compassionate individuals who took the time out to simply sit next to me during many hospital visits! Let me be that person for you.
