About Evie
Originally from Bath, England, Evie was awarded first class honours in Physiotherapy from the University of Birmingham, in 2016. She brings over seven years of experience working across a range of settings, including hospitals, clinics, and community care. This has given her extensive experience treating people with complex conditions, and disabilities. She spent time as a Paediatric physiotherapist, developing specialist skills, engaging with, and treating children and young people.
Known for her bubbly personality and energetic approach, Evie strives to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone, recognising the connection between physical, mental, and social wellbeing. Truly enjoying working with people from all walks of life, Evie believes that being “active” looks different for everyone, whether their goal is returning to sport, staying independent, or simply moving more comfortably day to day.
Evie grew up competing in Rhythmic Gymnastics at both national and international levels. Through her own experiences with injury, Evie understands the challenges of the recovery process from a patient’s perspective and brings this empathy into her care. Thus, a priority for her is to ensure patients feel heard, understood, and supported throughout their rehabilitation.
Alongside her clinical work, Evie has a strong background in sport and coaching and is a Level 2 CrossFit Trainer. This experience has given her a keen eye for identifying movement patterns that may be contributing to pain or injury, informing diagnosis and treatment.
Outside the clinic, Evie loves being active and spending time outdoors. You will often find her at the ski hill during winter or hiking and exploring in the summer. She feels very lucky to call Banff home and is excited to support patients in living active, healthy lives in ways that are meaningful to them.
