About Fatemeh
Fatemeh Adelzadeh is a Registered Kinesiologist (R.Kin) and dedicated movement specialist serving at iam Physiotherapy Clinic. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a Minor in Psychology and a part of the Medical Professional Stream from Trent University (2024), complemented by certifications in PNF Stretch Therapy and Manual Muscle Techniques. Her clinical foundation includes hands-on roles as a PTA/OTA lab Technician at Seneca Polytechnic College, Stretch Instructor at Stretchlab, Pulmonary Rehab Assistant at Peterborough Hospital, Orthopaedic Assistant in Markham’s Urgent Care and Neurological-recovery Assistant at Walk It Off Clinic.
Fatemeh works with adults across the lifespan and different settings from active individuals, post-surgical, chronic pain patients, athletes, caregivers and neurological-rehab clients treating diverse needs from injury recovery, strength restoration, fall prevention and functional independence. Her approach centers on precise movement assessment, individuated exercise prescription and patient education to optimize posture, strength, balance, endurance and daily function. She employs evidence-based techniques including functional movement screening, progressive resistance training, assisted stretching, breathing/conditioning exercises, task-specific neuro-rehab drills and body mechanics coaching.
Fluent in English and Farsi, she excels at adapting programs for cultural/linguistic diversity, using visual aid and family involvement to ensure accessibility and lasting results. Fatemeh is passionate about empowering clients to reclaim confidence and activity whether retiring to sports, managing chronic conditions, supporting aging loved ones etc. Her integrative work bridges rehabilitation and prevention, prioritizing safety, collaboration with Physiotherapists, and long-term health gains.
