She holds a Master of Social Work degree from The University of British Columbia and brings extensive clinical experience working within Vancouver Coastal Health and Fraser Health. Alison provides evidence-based, compassionate counselling to individuals and couples experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, emotional challenges, and life transitions.
Her therapeutic approach is grounded in respect, collaboration, and cultural safety. She believes in meeting clients where they are and tailoring care to each individual’s unique needs and goals. Drawing from a range of evidence-based modalities, Alison integrates Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), and Person-Centred Therapy (PCT) into her practice.
Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, Alison is committed to creating a supportive and inclusive environment where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered. She strives to foster meaningful therapeutic relationships that help individuals and couples build resilience, gain insight, and move forward with confidence and hope.
