About Gabriella
Gabriella has received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Mount Royal University and her Master of Science in School and Applied Child Psychology at the University of Calgary. She has specialized training in cognitive, academic, memory, ADHD, ASD, and mental health assessments. Gabriella has worked with a variety of clients, including those with ASD, ADHD, anxiety, OCD, eating disorders, learning disabilities, and behavioural concerns. Prior to becoming a provisional psychologist, Gabriella had spent several years working in residential and hospital settings supporting clients aged 8-17 who had ASD (levels 1, 2, and 3), ADHD, and other moderate-severe mental health diagnoses.
She specializes in supporting individuals aged 6-24 struggling with ADHD, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, anxiety, emotion regulation, and self-esteem. Building rapport with clients is a top priority for Gabriella, and she works with individuals and families to find the modality and treatment that fits best for them. Gabriella incorporates mindfulness practices with a majority of her clients, and aims to make therapy accessible and fun for children by teaching concepts through games, art, and other play-based approaches. Gabriella has also spent most of her life engaged in high performance athletics, and uses this experience to assist in supporting client athletes experiencing difficulties associated with sport, such as perfectionism, anxiety, and disordered eating.
Gabriella offers free 15 minute meet and greet either by phone or online so you can get to know a little bit about how she works and to decide if she is the right fit for you.
