« Shockwave Therapy is a revolutionary new technology which provides non-surgical treatment for many conditions that historically could only be resolved through surgical intervention. Shockwave Therapy promotes healing of degenerated or injured tissue leading to reduced pain and an increase in joint function. Shockwave Therapy is clinically proven to be effective in resolving and treating a wide variety of medical conditions, improving quality of life.
Common sites successfully treated by Shockwave Therapy:
Foot: Plantar Fasciitis, Achilles Tendinosis & Heel Spurs
Knee: Patellar Tendinosis & shin pain
Hip: Trochanteric Bursitis
Shoulder: Rotator Cuff/Calcific Tendinosis
Elbow: Tennis & Golfer’s Elbow
Muscles: Non-responsive Trigger Points
The literature suggests total resolution of symptoms on most patients with 3-5 sessions of 10-15 minutes. Marked pain relief is observed in most patients in just 8-10 days after the first treatment.
