About Garrett
Garrett is a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) with a deep passion for both the human body and an active lifestyle. Born and raised in Terrace, BC, he has always been dedicated to staying physically active, enjoying outdoor pursuits such as hiking, skiing, and maintaining a strong fitness routine at the gym. His interest in the mechanics of the human body and how it functions led him to pursue a career in massage therapy.
In 2020, Garrett moved to Vernon, BC, after being accepted into the Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy. He graduated in 2022 with distinction, earning an Academic Performance Award for maintaining a 90% or higher average each term. Upon passing the licensing exams in 2022, he received his RMT designation from the College of Massage Therapists of British Columbia.
Garrett approaches each treatment with a focus on addressing the root cause of his clients' concerns rather than merely treating symptoms. He believes that a thorough assessment, including a detailed interview and customized homecare plan, is integral to achieving lasting results. His practice integrates a variety of effective modalities, including neuromuscular therapy, deep tissue massage, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF), Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM), Swedish massage, and myofascial therapy.
In 2023, Garrett was honored to place third in the "Best of Kelowna" awards, a recognition that reflects his commitment to his craft and the trust of the local community.
Outside of the clinic, Garrett continues to enjoy the active lifestyle he loves. You can often find him hiking local trails, exploring Kelowna's downtown, skiing in the winter, or soaking up the sun at the beach. He is passionate about helping his clients live pain-free, active lives and is thrilled to be part of the vibrant Kelowna community.
