À propos de Gemma
Dans ses motsI am a physiotherapist who can help you move with ease, build strength, and return to the activities that matter most. I can work with you towards achieving your goals. Whether it's recovering from an injury, managing a chronic condition, or aiming to stay active as life evolves. I support your long-term function and confidence by providing hands-on manual therapy and personalized exercises rooted in evidence-based care.
I graduated with a Bachelor of Kinesiology and Master of Physical Therapy from the University of British Columbia. My eagerness to grow my skills led to working in private clinics, hospitals, and chronic disease management programming. My experience spans post-surgical care, motor vehicle accident recovery, muscle and bone injuries, and sports/dance rehab. I have additional certifications in manual therapy (AIM Level 1), Fitness & Mobility for Older Adults, and BC Sports Aid Program. A common thread throughout these experiences is the understanding that our physical health impacts every aspect of our lives, and that everyone deserves the support needed to lead an active and fulfilling life
When not at work, you’ll often find me cycling, hiking, swimming, and taking dance classes. I am always up for travel recommendations, ask me about my time working in Haida Gwaii!
