About Georgina
Works with: Adults & Seniors
Georgina is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with a Master’s degree in Counselling from City University and nearly a decade of experience in the mental health field. Her background includes work in community-based and clinical settings, where she supported individuals through complex emotional challenges and major life transitions. These experiences continue to shape her current work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, grief, and periods of change such as career shifts, identity exploration, or feeling stuck or overwhelmed. Her work is grounded in curiosity, compassion, and respect for each client’s lived experience.
Her approach is integrative and evidence-based, drawing from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), mindfulness-based approaches, and person-centred therapy. She takes time to understand what has shaped a client’s story and what they hope will feel different, collaborating on goals that are realistic, meaningful, and sustainable.
Georgina offers a warm, non-judgmental space where clients don’t need to have everything figured out. She focuses on helping people better understand themselves, strengthen coping skills, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
Outside of work, she enjoys travelling, baking and cooking for friends and family, getting lost in a good book, and visiting museums. She also loves trying new places to eat and is rarely far from a good cup of coffee.
Fun fact: she loves both cats and dogs and will ask to pet them every time one crosses her path (unless they’re a service animal, of course).
