Prenatal Massage

« Predominately swedish techniques are used to alleviate pain and discomfort during pregnancy. Prenatal massage can significantly reduce stress, reduce swelling, and aid in sleep. A pregnancy bolster is used for client to have a comfortable and safe massage while laying on their tummy. Alternatively, the bolster & other props can be used for side-lying position. Treatment will be customized to clients preference and based on stage of pregnancy at the time of appointment. Broader and lighter strokes are generally used avoiding techniques and areas that are contraindicated for pregnancy. 90 minute treatments are not recommended for first time prenatal massage.
