Ian has triple professional titles as an Osteopathic Practitioner, Athletic Therapist and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.
His clinical expertise lay in the assessment and diagnosis of his patient’s injuries to provide long term pain resolution. Pain is a symptom of body-wide movement dysfunctions and treating pain locally rarely provides long term solutions.
In clinical practice Ian uses a combination of targeted corrective exercises and manual therapy to alleviate pains to muscles, joints and nerves. Although Ian has vast experience in the treatment and rehabilitation of elite Olympic, NFL, ATP and MLS athletes, he successfully applies his skills to treat patients of all ages and backgrounds.
In his spare time, Ian enjoys skiing, playing rugby and competing in triathlons. He completed his first “Ironman” in 2019, a race comprising of a 3.9km swim, 180km bike ride and 42.2km run.
Ian is an active member of Osteopathy BC.
