About Iriella
Taking the first step toward therapy can feel daunting, but you don’t have to do it alone. I am a Registered Psychotherapist – Qualifying, and I provide individual counselling for youth (12 and up) and adults who are navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, self-esteem, relationship struggles, and life transitions.
My therapy style is compassionate, collaborative, and blends practical strategies with empathy and curiosity to support clients toward meaningful change at their own pace.
About Me
Before becoming a psychotherapist, I spent many years working in child and youth care and coaching competitive gymnastics. I’ve supported people through growth and change in a variety of settings — from community mental health programs to residential care and case management, school-based supports, and decades of coaching youth. Those experiences taught me how powerful encouragement, structure, and genuine connection can be in helping people reach their goals.
My approach is collaborative and relational. I draw from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFBT), integrating a strengths-based and trauma-informed lens. Together, we’ll identify patterns, build resilience and coping skills, and uncover your strengths to help you move toward clarity and confidence. I believe that healing and growth happen when we feel supported to explore who we are — and who we are becoming.
