Dr. Izu Nwoba, DPT, is a highly experienced physiotherapist in Victoria, BC, with over 15 years of international practice. His approach is patient-focused, results-driven, and based on the latest evidence in physical rehabilitation.
Izu works closely with every patient to find the root cause of pain or dysfunction. He then creates a personalized rehabilitation plan that supports your goals, lifestyle, and environment. Whether you’re recovering from an injury, managing chronic pain, or preparing to return to sport, he is here to help you move with confidence.
Education and Advanced Training
Izu holds a Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Michigan, a Master of Science in Rehabilitation Sciences from the University of Manitoba, and a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Rehabilitation from the University of Nigeria. His graduate research focused on FIFA’s injury prevention program for young female soccer athletes.

Who Izu Helps
Izu treats a wide range of patients—from children to older adults, weekend warriors to elite athletes. He has special interest in musculoskeletal injuries, injury prevention, and vestibular rehab for those struggling with dizziness or imbalance. His experience includes work in hospitals, community clinics, and private practices across Nigeria, Manitoba, and now British Columbia.
Outside the Clinic
When he’s not helping patients feel better, Izu enjoys weightlifting, playing soccer, and both lawn and table tennis.
