À propos de Jade
Dans ses motsThank you for being here. I understand that taking this first step is often the hardest and that it can be an intimidating experience. I also believe that this first step is the most important, as it is your first step towards creating meaningful, lasting change. As your therapist, I will create a safe, nonjudgmental, and compassionate space for our work together and ensure that you feel heard, understood and respected.
I favour an integrative approach to therapy, and utilize several modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), Client Centered Therapy and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT). This integrative approach allows me to tailor treatment to meet your specific needs and utilize modalities and techniques that are best suited to your individual preferences. I don’t believe that there is a one-size fits all approach to therapy, so I cater my approach in a way that best supports you and our work together.
I specialize in working with clients who are looking to address concerns related to relationships and intimacy, fertility, pre and postpartum, parenting, women’s issues, and life transitions. While mental health is relevant to everyone, I believe that women face a unique set of mental health challenges that are specific to the female experience. I take great pride in being able to support women in psychotherapy.
I also have extensive experience in the field of grief and bereavement. As your therapist, I can help you navigate the grieving process by providing a safe space for you to express your feelings, build new relationships and re-develop your sense of self after loss. Together, we can ensure that you will continue to live life in a meaningful and fulfilling way.
Additionally, I can help clients with a variety of other concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder.
In my free time, you will either find me outside, on the tennis courts, walking my dogs, exploring a local exhibit or gallery, reading, enjoying a meal with friends, spending time with my family or planning my next travelling adventure!
I genuinely believe that with the right support, anyone who is motivated, can create positive change in their relationships and their life. So with that, I look forward to meeting you and our work together.
