Jae, a dedicated Registered Massage Therapist and Kinesiologist, holds a degree from Simon Fraser University in Kinesiology since 2014. His journey in health and wellness began while working as a kinesiologist, where he discovered the synergistic potential of combining massage therapy with exercise prescription. This revelation led him to pursue and complete the RMT program at the prestigious West Coast College of Massage Therapy (WCCMT) in 2019.
In his practice, Jae skillfully integrates a variety of techniques including pin and stretch, myofascial release, and trigger point therapy, ensuring personalized care tailored to each client's needs. Complementing these modalities, Jae also specializes in Fascial Stretch Therapy, offering a comprehensive approach to wellness and mobility.
Beyond his practice, Jae has embraced the role of Teaching Assistant and Clinic Instructor at WCCMT since 2022, sharing his passion and expertise with aspiring therapists. His commitment to education reflects in his patient care, as he continues to recommend effective home exercises, leveraging his kinesiology background to enhance recovery and well-being.
With a keen interest in treating temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders, Jae is dedicated to expanding his skill set to address a broad spectrum of musculoskeletal issues. His holistic approach to therapy not only alleviates physical discomfort but also promotes overall health and mobility.
Fluent in Korean, Jae values communication and connection with his clients, ensuring a comfortable and understanding environment. An advocate for an active lifestyle, he enjoys engaging in various sports, including golf and soccer in the warmer months and snowboarding during the winter season.
