I have a passion for helping others and I enjoy using my assessment skills to come up with effective treatment plans for my clients that they can adopt at home as well. I am very much looking forward to joining the amazing team here at Eastern Shore Wellness!
I am new to the area but I have spent most of the last decade in Nova Scotia on the North Shore. When I'm not working you can find me puttering in the garden or spending time with my daughter, dog, and cat. I enjoy the outdoors and travel when I can.

Foot Care
« Nursing foot care differs from a spa-like pedicure, so let’s take a look at what to expect. I
will be looking at the feet from a nursing perspective and providing a holistic assessment.
I’ll consider circulation, pressure areas, neuropathy (80% of people who have neuropathy
don't know they have neuropathy), and properly fitting footwear. Usually, clients will visit
every 4-6 weeks to be provided basic care like trimming nails, and filing. For others,
advanced and diabetic foot care is also provided, taking care of all of the painful woes the
feet can cause including calluses, corns, pressure areas, and ingrown nails - that if left
untreated can become painful and cause many other complications. Education on how to
best care for your feet between visits will also be provided. Taking care of your feet is a
vital part of your overall well being and really worth the investment. »
