Dans ses motsAs a registered Psychologist, I bring a dedicated history and a deep-rooted passion for working with first responders and their families, as well as individuals and couples.
Having worked for Calgary Police for over a decade, I have specialized knowledge and experience with first responder working environments, operational and organizational stressors, trauma, and their unique relationship concerns, as well as the common responses to these stressors and the interventions used to treat symptoms of depression, anxiety, and PTSD.
Additionally, I am a sessional instructor at Mount Royal University within the Psychology faculty and am well versed in providing psychoeducation and various workshops.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Psychology (Honours) from Mount Royal University, a Master of Science (MSc) in Counselling Psychology from the University of Calgary, and significant additional training in trauma, suicide intervention, wellness, and couples therapy.
