Janelle has been in the field of Physiotherapy since 2016, having worked as the lead
physiotherapist with one of the top collegiate soccer teams in the Philippines for 3 years. She
focused on injury prevention and treating sports injuries to help athletes get back on track at
least time possible. She did this with the additional knowledge of the basic soccer biomechanics
and game mechanics she took in a Youth Coaching License Course.
She worked as a volunteer in local community physiotherapy clinics while expanding her
horizon in treating patients with osteoarthritis, fractures, musculoskeletal pain and injuries, frozen
shoulder, post- stroke, Bell's Palsy, among others.
To enhance her knowledge, she studied Fitness and Health Promotions in Windsor, Ontario,
having obtain the skills to identify needs in the community and design programs for individuals
and groups meeting in a wide range of objectives and goals in the field of health and fitness.
She has also completed manual therapy and movement enhancement, evaluation, and
treatment for both overhead and running athletes, concussion course and Kinesiology taping. Making sure that she
is updated with new studies, she reviews up-to-date research and studies in treating patients.
She works closely with patients while she is passionate about helping people in need to get
back to doing things they love, and participate in the activities they enjoy, with adequate
physical strength and movement through individualized treatment plan involving exercise,
education, and manual therapy.
