I am a Registered Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists with a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. I have nearly two decades of experience working with families in the non-profit sector, and am here to help explore how attachment and family dynamics impact your current relationship with yourself, and with others.
I use a humanistic, emotion-focused approach to work with you to navigate your challenges and to uncover self-compassion and empowerment that leads to meaningful healing and growth. I specialize in men’s mental health and issues related to depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, parenting challenges, divorce, and co-parenting. I work with individuals (age 13+), couples, and families of all backgrounds, cultures, religious affiliations, sexual orientations, and gender identities. I am also an EMDR informed clinician.
As an important part of my own mental health and well-being, I spend as much time as I can outside and I love to run in beautiful places. I am also a proud parent to three teenagers and am even prouder of how often we laugh together, even if they also sometimes roll their eyes at me.
