Being fascinated by the complex physiology of the body and driven by the desire to understand its mechanisms, Janie naturally gravitated towards the field of healthcare. Passionate about the art of healing through touch and possessing a strong sense of empathy, she chose massage therapy to contribute to the well-being of her clients.
Janie graduated with distinction from the Atlantic College of Therapeutic Massage in Dieppe, New Brunswick, in 2020. That same year, she relocated and began her career in Quebec.
Did you know that New Brunswick has legislated the profession of massage therapist? The requirements are very high to become a massage therapist. Janie therefore has over 2200 hours of practice!
She has also received training in cupping therapy and fascia. Additionally, she practices Vodder lymphatic drainage, perinatal massage, sports massage, Swedish techniques, relaxation massage, deep tissue massage, myofascial release, and cross fiber technique (mobilizations and traction for traumatic injuries).
Janie adopts a personalized approach tailored to the needs of each client. She is stimulated by the role of detective, allowing her to discover solutions for every situation. Through massage therapy, she can bring together her interests and qualities to offer the best to her clients.
