Jarryd Reed
À propos de Jarryd
Dans ses motsJarryd Reed is a registered Kinesiologist and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist who integrates rehabilitation and performance training to help people move with confidence. His approach is grounded, transparent, and collaborative, emphasizing the importance of understanding both the “why” and the “what” behind each exercise. He believes progress comes from consistency, patience, and applying the right amount of challenge within safe, evidence-based limits.
With a background in kinesiology and strength and conditioning, Jarryd works with a wide range of individuals, including youth and masters athletes, golfers, runners, climbers, weekend warriors, individuals recovering from motor vehicle accidents, and those managing persistent pain or returning to daily activities. He blends rehab and strength work seamlessly, focusing on building resilience, capacity, and long-term confidence rather than quick fixes.
Originally from rural Alberta, Jarryd grew up playing multiple sports, which shaped his belief in well-rounded athletic development and lifelong movement. After moving to Vancouver Island to continue his education, he embraced the Island’s active outdoor lifestyle, which continues to influence his philosophy on health and recovery. Outside the clinic, he enjoys mountain biking, hiking, climbing, running, and snowboarding, bringing the same passion for movement into his work with clients.
