Jas’ treatment focuses on a patient-centered approach based on current best practice clinical skills, exercise-based intervention, and patient education. Working collectively with his patients, he strives to help them achieve their rehabilitation goals and return to the activities that mean the most to them. This multifaceted approach builds on treatment interventions centered on movement and function to allow for pain-free and optimal body mechanics. Jas aims to empower patients with the tools and education to be injury-free and confident with their active lifestyles.
Jas graduated with his Bachelor of Kinesiology from the University of Victoria. While completing this degree, Jas was a member of the University of Victoria men’s soccer program and had the opportunity to work with other varsity players on and off the field. Immediately following graduation, Jas furthered his education with a Master of Physiotherapy from McMaster. Jas has experience working with a mixed demographic of patients. These patients include fitness enthusiasts and athletes of all ages and levels. As well, Jas has prior experience with neurological conditions such as spinal cord injuries, Parkinson’s, or traumatic brain injuries. Jas also works with the Canadian Premier League club Vancouver FC.
When not pursuing his passion for helping his patients, you can often spot Jas on the soccer pitch in the evenings as an accredited Canada Soccer coach devoted to developing the youth community. In his free time, Jas enjoys staying active on the tennis courts and golf courses or taking his dog on an evening stroll.
