She is dedicated to creating an environment where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered as they navigate their unique experiences and challenges. Jassie is committed to ongoing professional growth and continually expands her knowledge to best serve her clients. Her appreciation for cultural diversity informs her practice, allowing her to provide care that is both inclusive and sensitive to individual backgrounds. She is passionate about advancing well-being, balance, and equitable access to mental health care for all communities.
Jassie understands the difficulties that can arise when coping with complex emotions and thoughts, and strives to help clients develop greater self-awareness and resilience. She believes in offering a safe, non-judgmental space for clients to share their concerns and recognizes the unique strengths and stories each person brings. Her clinical interests include anxiety, stress, trauma, relationships, depression, self-esteem, confidence, and rehabilitation.
She has worked with children, adolescents, and adults across a variety of settings. With children and adolescents, she specializes in psychoeducational assessments, providing valuable insights into learning styles and needs through comprehensive evaluation. For adults, Jassie offers individual therapy, psychoeducational, and psychodiagnostic assessments. Her professional experience includes roles within school boards, universities, employee assistance programs, and private practice.
Jassie holds a Master of Psychology degree and is fulfilling requirements with the College of Alberta Psychologists as a Registered Provisional Psychologist. She is also a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. She provides sessions in English and Punjabi.
Jassie utilizes evidence-based therapeutic modalities that are tailored to each client’s needs, including cognitive-behavioural, trauma-informed, and strengths-based approaches. She is dedicated to empowering clients to build on their own resources and achieve meaningful growth. Jassie welcomes individuals from diverse backgrounds and is committed to fostering an atmosphere of respect, inclusivity, and genuine care.
