Jenn Massingham
À propos de Jenn
Dans ses motsJenn Massingham is passionate about patient-centered care, bringing over 15 years of experience working with provincial, national, and Olympic-level sports organizations to her practice. Recently returning from the Paris 2024 games, where she supported Canada’s Silver medalists Women’s 8 Rowers and the mighty lightweight women’s double. Jenn is excited to rejoin Mandala and integrate the advanced techniques and insights gained from this extraordinary journey into her care for clients.
Jenn’s approach to healing is deeply rooted in empathy. Having personally navigated the challenges of sports injuries and the complexities of recovery, she understands the physical and emotional toll injuries can take. Her mission is to create a safe, supportive space for her clients to work through their rehabilitation journey, focusing on both physical restoration and emotional well-being.
With a Master’s degree in Kinesiology, specializing in Sport and Exercise Psychology, and a Bachelor’s in Athletic and Exercise Therapy, Jenn’s expertise lies in understanding the body as a holistic system. She uses advanced treatment modalities learned through continuing education such as muscle energy techniques, craniosacral therapy, joint mobilizations, and soft tissue therapies to address the root causes of discomfort. By combining these techniques with a focus on nervous system regulation, she helps clients achieve lasting harmony and improved mobility.
Jenn is bringing her extensive knowledge learned through working in high performance and her own health journey to her athletic therapy practice by adding two new services: pelvic rehabilitation and concussion management. She has seen first hand in our national athletes how common pelvic health dysfunction can be and has worked hard to remove the stigma attached to this. She has seen how challenging it can be for athletes to manage concussions without having an athletic therapist with your team or in your place of work. Managing concussions can be overwhelming and confusing and Jenn wants to help provide guidance through this confusing and often stressful time.
Blending science with a holistic, compassionate approach, Jenn’s treatments empower clients to move with greater ease and leave them feeling balanced in body and mind.
