Dans ses motsJennifer is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and a Professional Member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). She holds a Master's Degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and has worked with various community mental health and family service organizations. She provides psychotherapy to individuals and families, with a particular focus on
supporting those affected by Intimate Partner Violence, demonstrating a sincere commitment to
enhancing mental well-being within the community.
With a compassionate, culturally sensitive, and trauma-informed approach, Jennifer strives to
support clients' journeys toward personal growth and emotional well-being. By taking the time to
understand each individual’s unique context, she thoughtfully considers the complexities of
intersecting cultural identities, enabling her to provide tailored support and treatment plans
respectful of clients' experiences.
Jennifer’s primary goal is to assist individuals in reaching their cognitive, emotional, and
behavioural goals. She is eclectic in her approach, utilizing evidence-based practices from
multiple therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Gottman Couples
Therapy, and Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), through a client-centred and trauma-
informed lens.
Jennifer is currently accepting new clients and is dedicated to providing individual and couples
therapy. Her psychotherapy practice is designed to support clients in navigating a wide range of
challenges, including anxiety, behavioural issues, depression, self-identity, trauma, interpersonal
relationships, grief, gender and sexual identity, anger management, disability, suicide ideation,
unemployment, and parenting.
While appreciating the vulnerability demonstrated by clients seeking change, Jennifer employs
active listening, empathy, and a nonjudgmental approach to help clients unearth the thoughts
and behaviours hindering their progress. She is committed to reinforcing positive feelings and
behaviours, past successes, and strengths to help clients move towards their desired outcomes.
