« TMJ massage focuses on relieving tension and pain in the jaw, face, and neck areas. Here are some common goals and techniques:
A). Relaxing Jaw Muscles: The massage therapist uses gentle, targeted techniques (both inside and outside of the mouth) to relax the muscles around the jaw, reducing tension and promoting better jaw function.
B). Releasing Trigger Points: Trigger points or knots in the muscles of the jaw and neck can contribute to TMJ pain. Massage therapists work to release these points to alleviate discomfort and headaches.
C). Enhancing Range of Motion: By working on the jaw's mobility, TMJ massage can help improve the ability to open and close the mouth comfortably making chewing, talking and yawning easier. TMJ massage can be a complementary therapy to other treatments prescribed by healthcare providers to manage TMJ-related pain and discomfort. »3 optionsRegistered Massage Therapy Visit including cupping with an RMT
« During a myofascial cupping massage session, silicone cups are used to create a suction that separates fascial layers (fascia is the connective tissue that wraps around and supports all organs, nerve fibers, bones, and muscles in the body). Cupping increases blood flow to the area being treated. The therapist may use the cups in a static position to target specific muscle groups and joints, or incorporate more dynamic movements and gliding strokes to release tension and increase mobility. »3 optionsDisponibilités : vérifié il y a 1 h · les prix viennent directement de la clinique — jamais majorés
