Hi! My name is Jennifer Yelland (she/her), and I am a Registered Provisional Psychologist regulated by the College of Alberta Psychologists. I hold a Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology from Athabasca University, a Master of Science from the University of Calgary (with a focus on mental health promotion), and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Saskatchewan. In addition, I bring over 22 years of experience promoting psychological health and safety in the workplace.
My practice is rooted in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT); however, I draw from a variety of therapeutic approaches to best support each client’s unique needs and goals. I am passionate about working with individuals and couples navigating depression, anxiety, relationship conflicts, workplace challenges, infertility, involuntary childlessness, body image concerns, and much more.
I believe every individual has the knowledge and strength to overcome the challenges in their life. My goal is to create a safe, non-judgmental, and collaborative space where you feel empowered to take control of the difficulties you face. I use evidence-based, client-centered approaches to help you meet your needs and move forward with confidence.
