About Jenny
Jenny is thrilled to join the team at MyoDynamic Health and is passionate about helping clients achieve meaningful results through collaborative, outcome-based therapeutic care. Over the past nine years, she has made continuing education a priority, continually expanding her knowledge and skill set to provide comprehensive, individualized treatment.
Registered Massage Therapy
In 2017, she graduated at the top of her class from Oxford College’s Massage Therapy Program and is a Registered Massage Therapist in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO).
Manual Osteopathy
In 2024, she graduated from the National Academy of Osteopathy with a Diploma in Manual Osteopathic Practice. She is a member of the College of Registered Manual Osteopaths (CRMO) and the Canadian Alliance of Alternative Medicine (ACMA).
Incorporating Manual Osteopathy into her treatments had been a professional goal for many years. Her osteopathic approach focuses on addressing dysfunction throughout the body and supporting improved movement, balance, and overall function. Techniques may include joint mobilizations, muscle energy techniques, visceral manipulation, and craniosacral techniques.
Acupuncture
In 2020, she completed Acupuncture Canada’s Anatomical Acupuncture program. Acupuncture has since become an important part of her daily practice and results-focused treatment approach. She incorporates acupuncture when appropriate to help address neuromuscular dysfunction, nervous system regulation, and overall well-being.
Foot Reflexology
She is a Certified Foot Reflexologist through the Ontario College of Reflexology and hopes to further expand her training to include hand and auricular reflexology.
Foot reflexology uses targeted pressure-point techniques on the feet with the goal of promoting relaxation, balance, and overall well-being throughout the body.
Craniosacral Therapy
In 2021, she completed Level 1 and Level 2 Craniosacral Therapy training with Robert Harris through the Cranial Therapy Centre in Toronto.
Craniosacral therapy is a gentle, non-invasive approach that works with subtle structures and movements within the body. She incorporates these techniques when appropriate as part of a comprehensive treatment plan.
Additional Treatment Techniques
She is also trained in and regularly incorporates a variety of additional modalities based on each client's individual needs, including:
Therapeutic ultrasound
Athletic taping
Cupping therapy
Gua Sha and Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM)
Reiki – First and Second Degree
Indian Head Massage
Hot Stone Massage
Intraoral TMJ massage
She is also currently completing her certification as a Personal Trainer through canfitpro and is awaiting her final examination.
Outside of work, she enjoys gardening, learning to play guitar, going for bike rides, and playing disc golf. She is also a proud sponsor and treatment provider for her son’s U15 Rep I-Model Peterborough City Soccer team.
