Jenny Roy, PT
À propos de Jenny
Dans ses motsJenny Roy brings a unique dual focus to our clinic, offering care in both pelvic health and pediatrics. She works with adults (assigned female at birth) experiencing pelvic health concerns, as well as children and teens (ages 0–18) of all genders, including those with pediatric pelvic health conditions. Her practice includes support for bladder and bowel dysfunction, pelvic pain, and developmental concerns in both adults and children.
Jenny earned her Master of Science in Physiotherapy from Dalhousie University in 2017, following a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Acadia University. Her interest in pelvic health was sparked while working in pediatrics - through conversations with new parents and through supporting children with toileting challenges.
She has since pursued specialized training in urinary and fecal incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, dyspareunia, anorectal disorders, and pediatric pelvic health. She’s also completed courses in pediatric neurodevelopment, infant physiotherapy, dynamic core for kids, and pediatric yoga. Jenny incorporates biofeedback, corrective exercise, and pain science education into her treatment plans, tailoring each session to the needs and goals of the client.
Jenny is passionate about gender diverse care and strives to create an inclusive, affirming, and safe space where clients of all ages feel heard and supported. With her younger clients, she uses a play-based approach, blending therapy with games and imagination to make sessions engaging and effective. She finds joy in helping people of all ages build independence, confidence, and comfort in their bodies.
Outside of the clinic, you’ll often find Jenny at the beach, on her paddleboard, or in the kitchen cooking and baking. She also loves to travel and explore new places.
