Dans ses motsJessica is a co-founder of Advanced Pelvic Physiotherapy Centre Toronto. She has practiced as a member of the College of Physiotherapists since 2008.
Jessica has found her passion in treating pelvic floor dysfunction. With her orthopaedic skills and pelvic health training, she is committed to treating both men and women who suffer from pelvic pain, urogenital dysfunction, ano-rectal dysfunction, as well as pre- and post-partum issues. Her approach to treatment is to help others re-learn how to live well, stay well and be well through persistence, patience and perseverance.
Jessica graduated with a Masters of Physiotherapy from the University of Toronto in 2008. She graduated with a Bachelor of Kinesiology Honours degree from the University of Western Ontario in 2006. She is a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and its Women’s Health division, the International Continence Society, and the International Pelvic Pain Society. She is an Assistant Instructor at Pelvic Health Solutions, which provides continuing education courses on pelvic health physiotherapy to various practitioners. She has also provided several physiotherapy mentorships and has been a facilitator in clinical labs for medical students addressing treatments for mechanical lower back pain.
Jessica has presented at a number of conferences, including the Men’s Health Summit and the Ehlers Danlos & Chronic Pain Conference. She has also presented for The Ontario Kinesiology Association, The Endometriosis Network, various physicians and community groups. She is committed to life-long learning and providing evidence-based practice for patient-centered care.
