Her passion for the human body with respect to how it functions and moves led her to complete her Master’s and Bachelor's in Kinesiology at the University of British Columbia. Throughout the years, she has learned about pain processes, exercise physiology, and biomechanics. Joanna is dedicated to supporting patients in their rehabilitation journeys by addressing musculoskeletal injuries, neurological conditions, and joint pathologies. Taking a patient-centred approach and tailoring to the needs of the patient, she integrates traditional Swedish massage, neuromuscular techniques, and joint mobilizations to create a therapeutic and relaxing experience. In her free time, Joanna likes to spend time with her puppy, play ultimate frisbee, organize her Pokemon card collection, and build Gundam model sets.
